Dee & Griffin Solicitors are committed to changing the landscape of local sporting opportunities for the disabled community of Gloucestershire.
Charity & Community
Corporate Social Responsibility
We are backing the Chamwell Centre re-development at Milestones School to dramatically improve the facilities available for disabled children and the wider community of Gloucestershire.
It is our pledge to
We have decided to take a different approach from regular fund raising efforts. We believe that donating staff and time to the cause will be far more effective than raising lump sums of money. Our corporate social responsibility program in partnership with Chamwell Centre, The Milestones School, Wooden Spoon and various local sports organisations will lead to a real change in the sporting opportunities for the disabled children and people of the Gloucestershire community.
It has been our privilege to help get families into their homes. Now it is our mission to help families get out of them, and into a community that offers first class sporting facilities regardless of age or disability
– Julian Jenkins (Managing Partner) and the Dee & Griffin staff.

Chamwell Centre
We are proud to work with The Chamwell Centre as our charity of the year. We believe this centre of excellence, built within The Milestone School, will have a tremendous impact on the lives of disabled children and adults across Gloucestershire. The school has 300 children aged 2-16, from all parts of Gloucestershire.
The majority of the pupils have severe learning disability or autism, and many face the additional challenges of severe and complex medical conditions and physical disabilities. The state-of-the-art centre will provide a large hydrotherapy pool with exciting therapy and sensory equipment, facilities for physical therapies, rebound therapy and soft play, as well as an all-ability play and sports area.
We also take the opportunity to support sporting events, functions and fundraisers to keep the connection going with our chosen charities throughout the year.
Although The Chamwell Centre is our charity of the year we are also proud to help the following local charities achieve their goals:

Longlevens R.F.C.
For over 5 years Dee & Griffin has played an integral role in implementing mixed ability rugby (MAR) union into Longlevens Rugby and multiple special needs schools across the country. MAR is an adapted form of rugby union to create an inclusive version of the game regardless of mental or physical disability, or the perception of not being good enough
Dee & Griffin has supported these efforts by lending staff and expertise to create an effective delivery infrastructure and maintain financial sustainability. We were there from the beginning when no one had heard of MAR and no one from the disabled community of Gloucestershire had the opportunity to play in our rugby mad city!
Five years later the project has been an overwhelming success with over 40 adults playing MAR at Longlevens Rugby and over 120 pupils from multiple special education needs schools including the Milestone School, Alderman Knight School and Belmont School.

Award-Winning Gloucestershire Legal Experts
Key to the projects success has been maintaining successful relationships with a range of partners including the Chamwell Centre, Wooden Spoon and Longlevens Rugby.
Supporting our partners and lending staffing expertise is central to our Corporate Social Responsibility policy. We love Gloucester, we love rugby – and we are proud to helped so many people play the game regardless of their ability.
Finally, we allow all our staff out of the office one day a year to support our chosen course. We believe that lending a hand, rather than offering a pay out, has a greater and longer lasting impact on improving Gloucestershire and the people who live there.
